First time visit. The outside of the building looked a little uninviting, but once inside, wow it was very nice and the staff was very friendly. Luv the white chili! We will be back.

This sandwich had three huge strips on it and the sauce was SO good. Crab stew was rich and delicious! Guac bites with the Cajun ranch is a must. Super friendly staff, great portions and yummy food Will come back!

If you happen to be in Alton, Bluff City is a great place to meet up with some friends for lunch or dinner. It's a very casual and comfortable place where people were dressed up and dressed down but no one felt out of place. There's plenty of parking which isn't always the case downtown. A nice patio area, good drink specials, and solidly good food. They have some fancier entrees but we went sandwiches and they were great. I recommend the three pigs with tots and a Shinerbock.

We took my Mom here for her birthday dinner and she loved it! Pretty decor and plenty of tv's in bar room so we could watch football. Mom had baked chicken wings which she said were tasty. My boyfriend had the meatloaf special and I had the fried chicken special which were both hot and full of flavor. Our server was also the bartender in the back room where we sat and he was knowledgeable and attentive. We will definitely be back!

Love how big this place is! Lots of space for events and anything else. Love the ambiance and it was very clean on the inside. Came in and was seared rather quickly. They had sports on which was a plus. The drinks were good and strong. Martinis were a nice size compared to most places. Food: Buffalo Chicken Dip 5/5 EASILY Never had pita chips fried! Bluff City Grill did a fantastic job of hosting my family's gathering by providing quick, accurate service and great food. I requested the crab stew and Alfredo over Angel Hair pasta and I'm glad that I asked for a couple of extra veggies to be added because otherwise, it was kinda lacking. Overall, check them out for their spacious hosting options and food.

Bluff City is a family favorite. Service was pleasant and attentive as usual and we had a party of 10. Menu now marks gluten friendly items - so helpful. The table ordered guac bites, fried green beans, onion petals, cheese sticks, and 4 different sauces wings. For me, i just had a few wings but they left no scraps of the rest of the apps. I had 2 of the GF marked items, a cup of chicken chili and the chicken club salad. Both were good. Nice drink menu - the pineapple cake martini was a fun treat! Restaurant is a bustling and family friendly. family

This is a better than average bar/grill restaurants, that also offers pasta and steak meals. Everything is good here, whether it's the chicken strips and fries to the steak and pasta. Quality all around. The restaurant area is classy, the formal bar is nice, the sports bar portion is a great place to grab a beer or bring an obnoxious kid... and the outdoor covered area is a really cool converted parking garage location. (One of the few good side effects of COVID...) This is a great visit for locals and out of towners.

I've been here a few times and enjoyed it both times. The ambiance is a lil upscale but also casual enough that you don't feel underdressed (even if you show up in sweats like me lol). They have a nice bar area and a dining room. I've sat in the dining room during all of my visits. Service has always been friendly and efficient. Their menu has a good selection. I really enjoyed the meatball sub and onion petals. I've also had the cheesesteak and really liked it. My friend that I go with has liked everything they've ordered. Parking can be hard to find if it's a busy time of day and the parking garage is very small and narrow/hard to navigate. I also don't enjoy that depending on where you sit there can be lots of traffic around you. Last time we were close to the door where the food comes out and there was constant movement with food going around us.
